If you had looked at that year's table you would understand Shedka is correct, there were still games to play and when all games were played we finished 8 points adrift, if we had won that derby we would still have went down.

However to guarantee winning the league, we had to win the 14th May 2016 Derby, which was the last game of the season.
Therefore we won the league at Dens and last time I looked, you get a trophy for this.

Dode, enjoy the bragging rights for the recent well deserved win, but look in the history books for honours which come with trophies.

We were terrible under Mixu and it was inevitable we were going down

Which ever team mathematically relegated someone is usually treated as meaningless

Eg I think last time we went down we didn?t beat Motherwell on last day which meant we were finally down

When a team gets relegated with a few games to go nobody usually pays any notice to which game finally confirmed

The fact that Dees are enjoying their unprecedented 2 wins in a row is fair game.

But awarding the themselves unofficial honours for ‘being involved in United’s relegation’ is the real tell of the lifetime derby pain and humiliation they have experienced.
