Apparently TS has had an emergency meeting with Hamshaw this afternoon according to the man in the know king bush.

All about money !!!
Doubt he will b too bothered
He would want to leave a club where the books balance
Mr Stewart saved the football club, plain and simple.
He got us from under the money grabbing Booth`s,and somehow got us an amazing stadium in the middle of town, since then we have had the best period in the club`s history, but the last 3 seasons has been more like the rest of our history pretty much, surely now people must realise what Paul Warne did was unprecedented at our club.
It`s obvious to everyone interested in the club that getting to the championship and staying there for anything more than 1 season is nigh on impossible given our fan base, and the amount of money the chairman is willing to lose,so it`s probably time for a re-set,which might involve a step backwards, but will you accept that ?
Many, many clubs, some a lot bigger than ours have spent time in a league that you might call "Below their natural level",didn`t Ipswich recently spend 4 or 5 seasons in league 1 ?
Hamshaw has been saying pretty much from day 1 that the club needed rebuilding,or re-setting if you like, back to something more akin to the "Proper" Rotherham United,I think he`s right, and I don`t think many fans would disagree with that, but to get there might be painful, and might take a while, but will he get the time,I`ve said it before, our best ever manager took 3 seasons to get out of the 4th division, how times have changed.
Tony Stewart has probably realised by now that he won`t achieve what he wanted for the club, and has probably had enough of this football club owner malarky, who can blame him,so if his family really aren`t that interested, then a change of ownership is the right thing to do.
If so,thank you for everything, and good health to you sir.
You pick up the sword, you carry the flag, you fall on your sword when your interest wanes. Being a club Chairman is definitely not for the faint hearted or anyone with short pockets.
Rest assured, Tony Stewart will go down in Rotherham United folklore for those that care to view him like you/I do. I will always be eternally grateful for how he saved my club and delivered what he did but, like all fairground rides this one is due to stop soon.
If MH is manager we will not be in L1 next season. I have no issue with us building again in L1 to try and have some success again in the future, but we are not sat midtable we are 5 points from safety, we have games coming up that are must win games against teams near us, draws at home won't do either we have to win football matches, have to stop conceding and start scoring.Look at the table looks at the other columns not just the points and see the reality of our situation. We have got rid of 3 players and brought in a 17 kid, we are naming players in the press we want our of the club, we have our COO stating that the manager hasn't raised issues about the backroom staff even though we have the worst injury crisis in our recent history.
