He wants to bring in 3 more, so that means that TS has backed him with 1 extra wage!! Now all that is before we send players on loan and move players out which is stated as big wage players like Raggett and Kelly, so financially how is TS backing MH and how are we investing to try and get us out of the bottom four?
The whole articles that Davis often writes make little sense, because he is trying to make something applicable out of an interview, when we all knows how it works, it?s never changed. The plain fact is we do the bargains at the end. Davis has to write something, MH has to say something. You have to sell your house before you buy another. Simple as.
And hope you get another soon.

What I will say is this is way into the window, it?s the same old routine, may be even tighter on money. When he says he is confident Stewart will back him, it doesn?t mean a lot. It just means we will get someone at the end, if only a loan.

I would be more receptive if he said, he IS backing me, I KNOW by how much, so we know who we can bid for and by how much?at the START of a window. But they took ages letting even 2 go back, because we misguidedly thought we needed players like etete on the pitch against Huddersfield.
However, since MH really knows it will be business at the end, he keeps him for at least a game or two, shielding saving other players.

It?s all a bit transparent and boring.
