Totally agree with you Leics! Grit and determination may be pre-requisites for all players but, in themselves, will only take you so far. Now is not the time to f uck about and experiment, now is the time to play to our strengths which means playing a starting eleven and formation with tactics that we know have worked for us. From the suggestions many of us have already made, it seems pretty clear that- with the odd difference in preference aside-we are in general agreement around this. Surely, we cannot all be wrong?

The players need to feel comfortable in the system played and have full clarity around their own roles within it and the expectations on them. As you say, this can surely only maximise our chances of success whereas to do otherwise and attempt to try something new will only add further pressure to an already shaky set of players and likely end in a repeat of Tuesday night.
