"Big and Exciting" could well be "Small and Underwhelming" to most.
Am not feeling the excitement yet--maybe a further upgrade to hand dryers throughout the stadium ?

Gally, BBS owner and someone who is "in the know" with Supporters Trust and personal connections at the club, has said the "big and exciting" news about to be revealed could well be the lease for Oakwell Stadium with the Council and whoever, which runs out soon, being renewed.
This will provide the opportunity for massive ground investment by the owners. The lease issue has been said in recent years to be the major stumbling block in preventing the owners putting the millions into ground improvements they were wishing to invest.
Big news and exciting news indeed ! Well done Ahmad for working 24/7 to get this over the line. It will be exciting to see the plans that lie ahead to transform Oakwell that the lease issue has held back. I saw some plans a few weeks ago on the internet for the West Stand.
They looked brilliant.
Everything what I wished for.
Same building height as the Ponty but with rows of boxes along the back and ample seating at the front.
But does this mean I’m gunna be kicked out of the old West Stand again this season ???
Maybe - but fingers crossed it happens.
