Interminable debates on Covid, it's roots, effects, the varied reactions of various governments leading to what? No universal agreement, no accountability that all can rely upon or agree with, so a huge expendture of time and energy delivering next to nothing. You can't change the past, only learn from he mistakes of history.

Unlike the world right now, which CAN be changed and not for the first time the bully in the White House has had second thoughts.

He threatens a fellow NATO member with possible military action, he threatens itger NATO members with trade sanctions if they don't support his ambition to buy Greenland, he comes to the meeting today in Davos and spends an hour insulting all and sundry, repeating the threats of sanctions (confusing Greenland with Iceland in several occasions!) and then within 2 hours of leaving the stage he withdraws the threat of sanctions (having already stated the threat of military action was withdrawn).

He's so much earning the "TACO Trump" strap line.

I?m a little fuzzy on moving on part of the comment.

So after killing millions, looking the other way while the government?s of the world walked all over their citizens, turning the education and business world upside and scarring an entire generation of young people we are to move on?

We can determine where a sick cow was raised in Canada 4 years after its death but can?t figure out where a virus originated or was created and who funded the research we just move on?

There is nothing even remotely going in the world now that has anywhere near the importance of finding out how this happened and how it can be prevented in the future.

Such a giant chasm between what was done to us in 2020 and what?s happening now

Even if I agreed with even a small amount of the nonesense generated by the conspiracy theorists, which i obviously don't, answer me this.....

With not a single government of ANY stripe giving even the smallest scintilla of attention and resource to the questions you ask, just how are any of them going to be answered?

Unless the nin-existent global conspiracy you put forward can be regenerated and this time to find those answers, you and those of the same view are blowing in the wind.

    He is beyond the pale....

He questions whether NATO would "be there" for the US if called.

The ONLY time in its entire history that Article 5 of the NATO Treaty has been used was in the aftermath of 9/11 when the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA asked for and was given support by her NATO allies.

He questions the dedication and commitment of NATO troops in Afghanistan, seemingly ignoring that over 1000 non-USA armed forces were killed during the deployment there.

He is a disgrace to the office of President of the United States and an embarrassment to the citizens of that sadly divided and ashamed nation.

He managed to insult just about everyone with his speech. Saying Europe have never been there for America, yet for instance Denmark lost more soldiers pro rata than the US.
Chiding that if America hadn't joined the war, the people present he was orating too would all be speaking German and maybe a little Japanese..... in Davos, Switzerland... where they mostly speak German.

The last Island that America bought from Denmark was Little Saint James... now infamously known as Epstein Island

Seems there are some things (perhaps the more significant ones), we agree on.

His insults to NATO armed forces are literally unforgivable, the dead remember their own.

He has described those buried at Arlington as "losers".

What depths of insulting behaviour and comment would this disgusting individual NOT plumb?

In the UK and to an extent in mainland Europe, w are accustomed to the antics of the "America first" lobby. As an example, during the period from August 1939 to December1941 when the USA was supposedly neutral, Roosevelt suggested to Churchill that aircraft bought legitimately from US manufacturers be towed by horse drawn means iver the border into Canada so as not to inflame the isolationist movement.

However, in the 80 or so years since, no President of the United States has insulted friends and comrades in arms as Trump, no President of the United States has convened and collaborated with dictators and warmongers as Trump has, and no President of the United States has been so willing to play fast and loose with the environmental impact of human beings in the one place in the universe we can call home.

    Well done America.

@ WTF. We're sick of your TDS. Trump lives rent free inside your boring empty brain. I caught you out big time proving you were a liar because you fell for those BBC lies and you're still unwilling to admit you fell for it like the gullible naive fool you are. The BBC admitted it!!!!! You still think the clot shot works!! LOL. You still think a Chinese woman eating Bat soup caused Covid!!! LOL.You are so clueless and uninquisitive that I wonder if you live in a mental institution where they sit you in front of a telly tuned in to the BBC 24/7 and slip your med's into your jelly and custard.

I believe the US is withdrawing from WHO due to its failure to investigate the Covid pandemic. Not really sure how make a stronger statement than that.

The reality is that when the world needed quick investigation and cooperation on the outbreak in wuhan from the Chinese they did nothing. It?s a toothless organization that did nothing when it was most needed.
