This is great news and we have needed this, I hope he can help us remove the part time vacancies in critical areas and deals with some of the poor senior management at the club.

Sounds like a Sir Jim Ratcliffe at Man Utd......look how he's redressed the balance sheet since he moved in.

Can't see Elior being happy of paying the club ?m's to run the Hospitality and then the club opening a bar to take customers away from the bars inside the ground.

Opening a sports bar would be ok, if they had decent beer, that on sale in the stadium is sh*t.

ELK, you're right, but who fits the unit out, the club won't be allowed under the terms of Eliors contract with the club. Why would Elior spend more money just to serve the same people who are coming in to the ground?

I don't know when their contract is up, but i'll ask some discreet questions..lol.

I'll ask Casper when he nexts comes up.....take care pal......UTM.

Just been nosey, and Eliot UK signed a 3yr contract with RUFC to provide ALL catering at NYS, not just matches.

Sounds like what we need. His breadth of business experience and track record in making businesses successful (I read he sold Embark to Lloyds for ?400m) will benefit us.

I just hope he can devote enough time to RUFC given all his other work commitments.

The Guy said money input is not needed. Hmmm.
A little puzzling is his initial task is to ensue MH feels backed by the board etc. Sounds like that is not the case?

I hope all goes well, and he can make a difference. We certainly need some help.
I don’t think that you are too far off with what you say here.
The size of the budget cut and what we are now paying players is incredible. It has made it harder to attract players but we are getting better and younger players.

If Phil smith can attract higher revenue through sponsorship and through and the commercial side of things then it will allow more money into salaries.

As he said ‘if you’re not coming to win then what is the point in coming’.
