    Burnley star signs for Clitheroe.

Anwar Murtesa, centre-half on a 28 day loan. I assume he'll be playing tomorrow so I hope he's a good 'un. I'll let you know.

If he is any good he will be off to Man Utd, like that 18 year old CH was before Xmas

We pass the good uns off to the top sides before they get poached, that's the reason why you never see any make the grade

He tended to be out-muscled on occasion, while he's tall enough he looks like a good steak pudding or two wouldn't go amiss. He did OK, a bit raw but he didn't let himself or the team down. I'd like to see him play another couple of games, not fair to judge a young lad, probably playing men's football for the first time, on just one game.

He had a much better game last night, more confident and self assured. My Clitheroe mates are all happy with him, but this is Level 8, a long, long way away from PL and Championship football.

Playing in a back four instead of a back three yesterday and he didn't look at all comfortable. Despite the fact that the opposition was virtually non-existent, this game seemed a backward step for him.

Got sent off on Saturday for two yellows, both fully deserved, hooked last night after gifting Lancaster their 2nd goal and, in effect, the game. I would be sending him back to Burnley, he doesn't really look up to this level, never mind potentially PL/Championship.
