    Any thoughts on Blues

This will be a hard game and they will want to add to our misery. Hope Mepham is fit as don?t fancy Taylor. I would like to see Mikey start.

Maja/Dike or Heggebo - I would go for Heggebo to start and chase and hold the ball up. That said all three of them are not great!

Jamal will want to do well to get one over the Blues! Seems quick with his feet unlike the other Viler Junior!

Any news on Mustapha as if he?s injured or not match fit - why go for the loan?

We need at least a point especially as it will then be almost two weeks before we play Coventry, Make no mistake - Coventry need to win with the gap closing on them!

Definetely going to be a tough games. Blues seem to have overcome that spell where they lost a bit of traction and must have confidence after some good wins recently so they will be up for it.

Like yourself, I would start Heggabo because he battles and holds the ball up but would be tempted to play Dike alongside him. Sadly, I think Mepham will be out with that hamstring injury he picked up. I worry too about Taylor but unless Campbell is fit enough to return and can slot into a centre back position, I don't think Ramsay has too many options. I'd certainly want 4 across the back though and not 3! At least Mowatt is back and he and Molumby together have strengthened our central midfield.

As for Mikey, my impression is that he has been carrying the pubis injury for a while and he certainly wasn't his normal self yesterday. If recovered sufficiently maybe we might see him but really don't think he will play 90, not least because we will need him for our other upcoming games. Wallace has done well in previous outings though so I'm sure they can share game time.

It's an important game that we need to pick up at least a point from but whilst Jimoh-Aloba looked good on the ball yesterday he hasn't played a lot of first team football so maybe Bostock may get his chance too at some point?

Pretty well sums up my feelings. If Mepham is not fit it is important that Campbell is ready to return. Agree that we must play a back four with Mowatt and Molumby in midfield. Up front, I am not sure, sitting on the fence here I am afraid. What. I do know is that it will be a tough match for us.

Blues seem to beat us, despite us being unquestionably the better side - a result of some complacency I believe. A repetition of the commitment demonstrated yesterday will ensure we will not be easy to beat.

I would start Wallace, knowing that he will be substituted early days second half.

Also I consider Price is desperate to regain the fans favour. He showed pace at the start of the game in the press and created opportunities as a result. Whilst his game deteriorated as the game progressed, it looked as though he was struggling to ascertain precisely what was wanted of him. Maybe Ramsey will have picked that up. I would start him again, but similar to Wallace, early substitution if necessary.

The Maja,Heggebo and Dike mystery is in the eye of the beholder. Little to choose in my book.

The new Villa lad clearly needs better direction which will be apparent to Ramsey and hopefully rectified before next game.

The Johnston enigma will maybe preclude him from the starting XI.

I’m looking forward to us giving the Noses a fight.

It really annoys me that we give playing time to one of Villa’s youngsters and not our own. For me, Bostock should always start ahead of the Villa player, who should only come on as a last resort. The club’s management of young players as abysmal, how we could do with Caleb Taylor right now; he’s doing really well with Millwall and we virtually gave him away, disgraceful. I do hope we keep out of the bottom three but the way this club has been run, we do deserve to go down.

Could not agree more! Nobody could convince me that Jamal is better than Bostock and the fact Bostock does not get minutes is disgusting! Even Williams would not be considered if our injury list was crippling. It?s pathetic but then again Fellows only got in because of injuries and than CC tried to accommodate our Jed on 30K per week as a CF 😭

Unbelievable! What next a new deal for Wallace FFS on stupid money?

The PSR pressure will be off come the summer transfer window and unless by some miracle Dike or Maja can redeem themselves over the remaining games and start scoring goals then they will go along with Wallace, Diakite and Grant which will free up money to spend on a rebuild.

Given the lightness of the squad maybe one of the last three (Diakite?) might be worth offering an extended contract to on reduced wages but guess that very much depends on which players we have our eyes on to bring in. Certainly agree with many that the likes of our own Williams, Whitwell and Bostock need to be given their chances too though.

As for Wallace, to be fair to him, he has shown desire and professionalism and has made his experience count but it's clear he hasn't the legs for 90 mins anymore. If he continues to perform as he has done since coming back from injury then I'm sure he will be remembered more fondly by fans before he goes.

Yes spot on! Not a fan of Wallace but agree he?s put in a decent shift since coming back but regardless needs to go in June as crazy wage!
