Terrace talk saying interview I haven't heard with Rob Staiton were Phil Smith says Hamshaw is doing a good job, got the Roth U dna. Well he isn't & wasn't he at Sheff W as a player, not here?

Whether OldTimeMiller thinks it or not, Phil Smith gets it, I promise you he does.
There's absolutely no value in you setting out the economic impact of being relegated because it has been factored in months ago and as an eventuality, planned for by people who know a lot more about it than you or I. That's for you to get your head around because whatever league we're in next season, the club has a strategy (or will have) and this guy is essentially leading it.
Imagine that, a successful local businessman who also happens to be a Rotherham United supporter. A man with money, contacts and therefore the potential to bring in future investment for the good of the club. Wow! Fans of other clubs would love that. Yet some of our "fans" are already making him out to be some kind of elephant in the room because he hasn't opened up blank cheque book. It genuinely boggles my mind that people are already whining about it.
He's been here for two weeks FFS, give the man a chance to have some kind of impact. You never know he might actually do some of the things you're going on about.

Sorry to intervene but this terrace talk or the guy who runs it is very anti MH, if you look on Facebook I would argue it is bordering on libel the abuse is absolutely horrible if you scroll down how this guy can pretend to be a supporter God only knows
I agree with Heliosphan let’s give Phil Smith a chance at least (who by the way Terrace Talk is very insulting about) I know things aren’t great at the minute but any additional support/ideas must be welcomed
When i said "cynical " before, I'll change that to brain dead.
Out of blue, someone comes along who is very rich, with access to even richer people, who clearly loves the club, wants to take the club forward, and some people are already slagging him off.
I for one am excited about what he can do for us,give the bloke a f*cking chance.
They go to the games, pay their money so their opinion is as good as anyone's but **** me they are moaning *******s. I thought I'd be able to tune into anything where people talk Millers, but I find them unlistenable. Hate people who moan like **** and then say "I hope they prove me wrong..." therey hedging their bets. If you're going to make such heavily loaded criticisms that pay ne heed of any context that the leaders are working in, then by all means have those opinions, but don't say "I hope they prove me wrong", just say "if they prove me wrong then I am a complete nobend and know nothing about football so, going forward I will shut the **** up"
Only my opinion.
Well said Uttis, football fans have different views each to their own except when the abuse steps over the line. The abuse from these people is appalling and way over the line of what is acceptable I am surprised libel action has not followed already.
Phil Smith is one of the best businessmen in the country Lloyd's Bank don't pay £400m for a business you have built in just over 8 years, but these clowns call him "clueless", yet he has Non Exec Director positions with a number of well known Companies in the finance world. And he is offering his services and expertise to RUFC for free. The only people clueless are the people running Terrace Talk
It is foolish to criticise Smith for the state we are in, he is here to help improve the situation and resolve some of the poor management decisions made over the last few years. To do this he needs time, and I think his appointment is great news.
I think his comments around MH are what you expect, no matter what he really thinks, he has to support the man in the seat at this time. The relegation comment I think is more about preparing us for the likely situation that we will go down, he is basically saying if we take a step back, don’t worry we are prepared. Let us be clear by next Saturday afternoon we will know what our real chances of staying up are, without Gore and Powell I can’t see us doing as well as some others on here can, but we will see.
