    FA Cup - Round 5

    Fifth-round draw in full

    Fulham v Southampton
Port Vale or Bristol City v Sunderland
    Newcastle v Manchester City
    Leeds United v Norwich City
    Mansfield Town v Arsenal
    Wolves v Liverpool
    Wrexham v Chelsea
West Ham v Macclesfield or Brentford

    ------

Only surprise is we're at home to be honest.

I see all other cartel 6 get nice easy draws - I'm sure there is no fix though

Newcastle have drawn City in a cup competition in 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025 and now 2026.

I mean, I know that would account for semi's where the chances are massively increased but still 4 years in a row. 5 years out of 6. . . come on.

    This is from Twitter.

Did some research. Not much to do. But in Howe's full seasons here, we've had 29 cup draws. (2 leg draws counting as 1 for this)

20 of them have been all PL ties (at the time of the draw)

9 of those 20 have been against the Sky 6.

I mean - mind boggles that we're meant to think this is genuine chance.

Our Cup draw luck is so shite, man...Man City again, ffs.

Like you say, though, Jammy, at least it's at home. (not that it mattered in the semi)

FA cup favours in full flow I see

    Arsenal

    3rd round - Portsmouth
    4th round - Wigan
    5th round - Mansfield

    Then we have this

    Newcastle

    3rd round - Bournemouth
    4th round - Villa
    5th round - Man City
    ---------------------------------------
Luck of the draw . . . FFS.

I know to win trophies you have to beat whoever is put in front of you but still.

My guess was Chelsea away. At least it's a home fixture.

I believe the match is just before the League Cup Final. It might be a good time to play them

Hope you're right Raga - that is the positive.

My guess was LiVARpool away to be honest.

Sick of losing to City this year. Time to turn that around. We are due a win.

We have to be mindful of complaining about playing City.

There is a very real chance, should we progress in the UCL, of course the draw will be against the City Blues. hahaha

Potentially the lads could end up playing City 7 times haha.

    Joy of joys!
