I thought we did a professional job for about 70 mins, then not sure what happened, tiredness or nerves, even then we had multiple breaks but the decision making was woeful. Dolceks pass for second goal was superb. That referee was horrendous, how does someone like that bad get to that level.

Regardless of how Ferry played, he was right to have a go at Stirton - he’d picked up the ball on our left in space about 10 yards outside their box with about 20 secs to go. The clear and obvious thing to do was to take the ball for a wander down to the corner flag yet bizarrely he instead decided to go on a bit of a mazy centrally and ended up losing the ball. They then punted it up the park but the ref did then blow for FT. However given what he’d produced throughout the match, it wouldn’t have surprised me one iota if the chunt had decided to let Spartans have ‘one last wee go and see what happens’. That’s why Stirton should have taken in to the corner and why Ferry, correctly IMO, was giving him the third degree. It was naive and stupid.

Agreed and I disagree with Whitfield, thought Ferry did well

On another note, Graham's header was our 200th goal under JG, Fatah's 201 in 133 games so far

Sibbald, Camara, Graham are the only real pass marks. there was nothing to holler about and the subs were poor, he has now had an ineffective entire squad out on the park before the next game and zero happening up front.

Foremostl the Ref ruined the game from the outset,with his card happy approach, which made almost all tackles cardable, he put himself in that position. He was quite selective and it just happened to be not in our favour. Red card a total head scratcher, the whole officiating team were dreadful.

None of the blatant simulation was punished.

It was always going to be a potential banana skin, which the OFBC, probably were hoping for.

As has been mentioned numerous times 3 at the back does not work for us on a consistent basis, so whether you change it from the outset or during the game, change the record at some point. I am happy for Dolcek though, as I still think he is a good player, but is being shoe horned, when playing into a system that doesn’t suit his game. Get all of our wide men playing and I think we would be pretty good and I don’t mean the wing back concept, if anything those that play at left and right back should just be overlapping when needed; not creating plays.

I thought Vicko had quite a good game.

Apart from you being correct about the 3 at the back I really dont think we were as bad as you're making out and controlled most of the game up until near the end. We would have kept the likes of Sibbald and Fatah on longer if it hadn't been for ridiculous yellow cards and the absolute state of that f*cking referee and with 11 men we win that far more comfortably.

I honestly don't know what game you were watching, firstly it was never a red, barely even a yellow

We were pretty decent last night with ten men, very comfortable and professional up until the deflected goal, had got plenty minutes in the squad and got players off too for Saturday

The only really poor play was terrible decision making on the break which should have led to a comfortable end

Yep thats the game I watched. I will say though that Iovu is a f*cking liability and 4 at the back worked much much better.

He did,he was giving it right to him......hard neck if you ask me and hes half the player he was last season.

I think this too, he's just not as good and I've been saying that all season long.

Thought we did well last night after going down to 10 men. Looked comfortable until the last ten minutes and cld have been on easy street but for the amount of poor decisions we made in the final third.

Sap looked a shadow of himself last night and I thought stirton bizarrely looked tired for the short amount of time he was on.

Had the ref not ruined the game we wld have won that comfortably, and as mentioned throughout this thread. 3 at the back does not work and although I?m not one calling for JG to go ultimately his continual stubbornness will lead to him getting his jotters.
