All paper talk. I don't think that Sean will be anywhere near coming back. He did the job and has moved on since then. He kept Everton up, in spite of points deductions but gets no credit from the Everton fans. He would have kept us up if the current owners hadn't sacked him. Nottingham Forest is turning into a job for a nut case.
Remember that Sean has only one relegation from the Premier League and that was after our second spell in there. He may not have played attractive football, however, he played the best game he could with the resources available and that is management.
I very much doubt that Scott will be out, unless they come to a mutual agreement about compensation and that will decrease after the end of this season. Will it happen then or..............................?
3-1 to Chelsea
Chelsea 3-1 BFC
Chelsea 2 - 1 Burnley
We've done OK against some top teams recently, no reason why we won't make Chelsea work for it.
2-0
All true sub my only thoughts are a hand a glove - our club suits him the size the underdog mentality - all play to his strengths- maybe it is paper talk as you say - I?d be interested to see what happens with the players if he did come back though ( a lot written off on here ) could more of them apply themselves better and step up ?
The rumour is that a number of players took exception to Sean at Forest and I have to admit that, with the modern mentality of a lot of footballers, he would have upset them because he wanted them to work hard for their money.
The players at Burnley were of a standard and, like any good manager, he utilised his workforce so that they performed at the top of their game and always gave their best ---nobody can ask for more than that. I am not sure that he would get that with the current bunch.
1-1 worked last time out, so 1-1 again.
