He did not sack VK after the same debacle 2 years ago so nothing new here.The only manager he sacked was the one he never backed - the same one that had kept Burnley overperforming in the PL for several seasons without spunking hundreds of millions.
The football was dour most of the time under SD but nowhere near as dire as under Parker which proves just how incompetent Pace & Co. are.We have gone from spending the minimum whilst watching dire football under SD and staying in the PL to watching even more dire football, spending stupendous amounts and still getting relegated.
They are not fit to run the club.End of.There will not be a third promotion next season-they and Parker got lucky with the defence they then dismantled.

Sadly this season our defence which was so miserly in the Championship has been the most profligate in the Premier League. Alan Pace has pointed accusing fingers at the fans even going so far as to suggest they have put off players wanting to sign for the club. The fans have expressed disappointment with the board and the manager; and certain players too accusing them of both lack of quality and effort. A return to the Championship beckons and not even the comeback victory at Selhurst Park and a battling display at Stamford Bridge have realistically altered that prospect. Parker?s position as manager remains precarious and perhaps only Burnley?s financial constraints have kept him in a job. Personally I like Scott Parker and he seems to retain the faith of his players. Dyche remains an intriguing possibility should the owners decide on a change of management. Perhaps in that much used phrase there are still plenty of twists and turns to come this season.
