You're right that he won't but I would like to see him start.

We're 5 goals up and we'll be at home.

Start some youngsters and have names on bench ready for swapping over if needed, otherwise, let them have a break.

At 6-1 up the team should be heavily rotated.

With Tonali taking a kicking from Rodri yesterday he needs a break.

I'd play Alex instead of Hall.

Ramsdale instead of Pope but the keeper can carry on.

Sean Neave should start up top with Gordon out wide left. Swapping for Barnes at half time to give both a run out without emtying the tank.

    J.Murph for Elanga.

Woltemade should start again in the dropped 9 position. I want the lad to get some confidence and goals.

Alas, Shahar should get a run out at RB but I doubt Eddie will take Tripz out.

    Keeper
    Shahar, Thiaw, Burn, Murphy
    Ramsey, Joelinton
    Murphy, Woltemade, Gordon
    Neave

    Agree with that team Rag.

Trips should be taken out, he's 35 and cannot play 90 minutes every game with the way we play.

It's noticable at best of times now, let alone when he is knackered.

If we happen to go 0-2 down after 10 mins what will you be thinking?

The levels of player in the squad, the youth especially, Need the acid test. Clearly Qarabag are not Premiership level, they would be a decent chimpo team.

With the injuries and the need to rest players to ensure the lads beat Everton at the weekend and a 5 goal cushion, there is no better time to put trust in those fringe players.

Give them a chance to impress. With 5 subs these days & the showing in Baku, Newcastle United's squad players aren't so bad as to capitulate ao dramatically for this fixture to be anything other than score draw at worst.
