Listen you clown, I know our history inside out and some of our fans are stuck in a pathetic negative mindset just now

We have no divine right to be above 7th after a decade of instability and 5 seasons down, Goodwin has plenty credit in the bank whether you or any other short sighted and short memory panic merchant like him or not, like it or lump it, keep b1tching like a bunch of spoiled kids or accept that this season isn't going as well as hoped but that 4th and currently 7th if offered this when we win promotion we all would have bitten the arm off

Is he a great manager, no but he's not bad either and it's a steady pair of hands which is what this club badly need and that doesn't change game to game, that's what we need as a club, recruitment over his time has wins and duds, more good than bad, you can see what he was trying this season and a few things haven't gone for us and him but the season isn't done but anyone expecting us to come up and turn into a permanent top six fixture after a the past decade is delusional and has no clue about football or Scottish football

Motherwell have hit the jackpot with their guy but he's it's a 1 in 50 shot, that isn't the norm and it won't happen for them again anytime soon and it won't happen for us if we go try the same, so they should enjoy him as manager while they can, they had 2-3 duds before him and will have others after

We've punted Owen Stirton out to Airdrie whilst having only two strikers to choose from that are both hopelessly out of form. Ross Graham out in the cold again too. How's his squad rotation going to look at 10pm next Friday when weve lost 3 games in a week? I'm absolutely livid with that line up today and I'm done with Jim Goodwin. He's done absolutely nothing for the morale of this team, hes dragging us down by the week. We are just incredibly lucky that Killie and Livi are more shyte than we are.

Top 6 was gone when Killie equalised last week and then drew with Aberdeen. So you wouldn't rest players before Falkirk in what has been a brutal run of 7 games in 20 days? The Falkirk game is now the most important of the season. We need our players to be in best shape for it not a yard behind a much fresher Falkirk.
I have been very critical of JG do a search on recent posts you will see that clearly. All I am saying is I can fully understand the logic of resting some key players today. We need them to be peak on Friday and them not all playing 3 games in 7 days when Falkirk wont be.

Well he had no reason to leave out Fatah even using your logic. We won the league using a f*ckload less players than we have this season, and we played 55 games that season. Players are too f*cking soft these days, get them fitter and stop signing sicknotes. Really angry about Jim's approach and that today was the final straw for me. Not meaning to fall out with anyone just really f*cking pissed off with him.

Play your strongest possible team and try to win every game is why people buy season tickets and spend fortunes going to away games. This piss poor, pathetic approach is an insult to those fans. Can't f*cking wait for his snivelly arsed excuses when we lose the next two games anyway. I want him and his damned back 3 gone.

Here you go again running folk down just because they can see how bad things are and you can't and worse than that, dont want to. You chatted the same shyte all the way up to us getting relegated,or has your super memory let you down on that part? You live in a bubble where everything is fine so long as our crowds are higher than the dees and that they are more shyte than us. That's not a good enough yardstick for the rest of us even if it floats your boat OK?

It’s hard to pu a particular finger on where it’s gone wrong this season but I do think the turning point was those back to back home games in early Oct (I think it was anyway) against Killie and Livingston. We’d started the season decently enough but to come out of those two matches with only one point against what we now know are statistically the two worst teams in the league sowed a seed that frankly I don’t think we’ve recovered from. It’s hard to put a finger on it precisely. Is it recruiting? Is it coaching? Is it tactics? Is it training? Is it all of the above? Bottom line is that there is one common denominator in the lot and I’m sorry to say that it’s the manager.
The rolling contract deal we signed up with him could work in our favour in so much that I think a parting of the ways would be best all round come the end of the season. Obviously we have to hope that he can get enough of a tune out of them to at least keep us out of 11th which despite everything should really be straightforwardly achievable despite everything.

Then again there’s a part of me that despite all available evidence, somehow feels that the (unt is going to win us the Scottish Cup this season…………………..

Aberdeen won it last season while they were absolutely minging. They were minging before, during and after. Even in their games that they played in the cup, they minged. There is hope!

They're manager was minging and was stubbornly attached to a system that did not work.

    they went through anyway.

in the final the manager finally changed his stubborn system and they won the cup.

Got to be in it to win it, shame we weren't strong at the back, because this season represents the best chance ever to win a cup with the quality of oppositio
