    Tino

Lots of stuff coming out that City are preparing a world record ?70 million bid (for a full-back) for Tino.

If this is the case then we sell him early doors and move on.

I think this sale is fairly likely to be honest.

Last summer his agent pulled them out of contract talks, citing he was waiting for new SD. Then in December when Wilson to talk contract his agent started talking about options etc.

I don't see this as coincidence.

If it is City, they'll offer Trafford as well - would put money on it.

I also don't think it's a terrible idea based on Tino's injury record. Brilliant but fragile?

Aye, that's a good way of putting it, Jammy-brilliant but fragile.

If he wants to go then off you pop. No recriminations-certainly wouldn't blame him after this season, but it's disappointing that he doesn't want to stay and help us get back into Europe.

We absolutely need to learn the lessons of last season and not try to convince him to stay whilst other clubs get their targets and we're left with the 4th choice on our list at asn inflated price because the selling team know we're desperate. Got to be a few good attacking fullbacks around who fancy coming and we need to control the narrative.

I have to look at the stats and counter that he's brilliant.

Played 99, 1 goal, 3 assists. That is shocking. He'd quick and TBH better down the left, far more impactful, than he has been at RB.

Compared to Krafthacurta - Played 106, 1 goal, 3 assists. It put things into context.

Tino is dynamic but zero end product. Due to his pace he nullifies winger and supports the CBs. For 70m quid, plus add-ons, for an early summer window sale. It's a deal too good to turn down.

There are a lot of options, Michael Kayode at Brentford and half a dozen lads on the continent that can be acquired for 20-30m quid who have the physicality and technical ability to match Tino's output. Most have better output numbers too.

I don't want Trafford. When he's had chances in the Prem, he's been a disaster. In 3-5 yrs maybe Trafford is gonna be good enough. Weekly wage of over 100,000 already at City.

He will want to be first choice, from his performances before Donnaruma join, he was appalling.

Better to take the money and sign Verbruggen who has a track record of being a decent Prem level keeper and bring in a young 2nd choice from the continent.

Squeeze north of 80m quid out of city.

Got to agree with Raga. If Trafford wasnt English noone would give him a second glance.

Bart Verbruggen earns approximately ?35,000 per week as a goalkeeper

Trafford is not 3x the Keeper Verbruggen is. Far from it.

    I agree with you both.

However, with Eddie's history of going back for players I think Trafford is quite a nailed on, we go back for.

Maybe as first choice he'll blossom.

I know he was poor before Donoruma arrived but maybe that is because he already heard that he was coming and knew what that would mean so he eneded up struggling.

I don't think we'll go back in for Trafford unless price comes down a lot or part of a very generous package for Tino. We were haggling over 4 million last summer before City bought him back.
