I'll take the win but by Christ our passing needs to be so so much better. That ref was a disgrace tonight, I can't believe he allowed the St Mirren player to sit on the pitch getting treatment all that time until they had their sub stripped and ready to come on? Unreal. And how they got away with no yellow cards until right near the end was a joke, blatantly blocking our players who were running with the ball into their half twice and no cards? I need that explained to me really. I was literally on my knees praying for Johnny to put that free kick into the top corner, I guess he's saving that for Friday night.

    Hard to watch.

Big Ross missed 2 balls all night leading to a goal and a chance.

    Dont like our keeper.

    At least we won!

Play like that on Friday and cup run is over.

Tbf I will take a shyte performance on Friday so long as we win,win at all costs now. Relegation should not be a concern really so we can properly throw ourselves into this one and if we can get through the players can have a nice little rest before the derby.

    Just f*cking win please!! 🤞🧡🖤🧡

An awful watch. St Mirren are poor and we are marginally better. Pitch obviously doesn't help things but our passing has been poor all season and we never seem to be able to find anyone or have enough in the box for crossed balls. That being said....a ***** 3pts and hopefully an opportunity coming up to try and get the pitch looking a bit better! Fingers crossed that having JR in the dressing room and the squad, gives us a wee bit of a lift.

Yep ugly win and crucial 3 points

We managed to out battle St Mirren and deal with their constant diving

Agyei and Sevelj our best I thought. Ross Graham and Iovu also were good.

Sapsford like a ghost of his former self these days - he needs a jolt and to start scoring again

    Welcome back to Jonny 🎉

    Everything is about Friday now

Fair enough, except can you not see with your own eyes that as a team we are just not creating chances for any striker?

Sometimes you just gotta take the win, and the gifts, god knows we've handed it to the opposition enough. I actually thought first half hour we had a few decent passages of play, then it just completely degenerated into hoofball by both sides. St mirren were hoofball most the night. Takes the pressure off us in the league. Watching the highlights, looks like they just made the lines up when checking the offside at the pen. Thought the pitch looked a bit better, interesting to see it in a few weeks.
