Yes he is and not concerned about the majority of fans over his managerial appointments. The majority of fans would not have wanted Morrison in charge solo - you only need to look at social media to see that. Whilst many have said they liked him and they said he?s not experienced enough!!

68 had raised the link between Gill and Martin in an earlier thread as well. Normally it's the new manager bringing in his trusted assistant as part of the appointment deal not the other way around so let's hope this isn't any indication in an interest by the club in Martin.

Despite all the usual speculation in the media with Martin's name being one of those mentioned as he is currently available, I'd never read any rumours of the club considering him or having approached him so hopefully all unfounded fears!

The words cheap option will always be attracted to any managerial appointment with our club. Pity these two words were not loud and clear with a striker appointment!
