For a season or two.
That will be any chance of a pint at match gone for another decade.
And O'Neil and Celtic players posing for selfies with fans on the pitch should be held to account....they won't be.
Will all be swept under the carpet, nothing to see here, move on now.
Don't think it will be swept under the carpet. People walking through turnstiles, flares and thuggery on the pitch.
Would like to see financial penalties that were distributed amongst the other top league teams. Maybe based on a multiple of the policing costs. 500 police officers at ?60 per hour is ?30k for minimum 5 hours is ?150k. That would be ?15k each for the other SPFL teams.Same principle for all games. Fine the clubs and distribute the cash to the other clubs.
Listened to radio Scotland on the way to golf this morning.
Apparently
It's a Scottish football problem, not so much a Rantic problem.
Celtic fans went on to celebrate ( not goad ) and joyful scenes as O'Neil and players involved in selfies.
Possibly a police security failure.
That's the argument for limited alcohol sales at football.....finished.
It's Scotland's showpiece game 😂
There's been trouble at most grounds this season including lower league
Deflect, deny.
I would take them leaving and Scotland finding it's own level without them quite happily. I've seen their contribution to Scottish football dwindle every urar since Albert Kidd day. Hearts may hopefully challenge them this season utnit will be short lived, any real challenge to their superiority has been nullified a long time ago. As for yesterday MON gave an interview prior to the game mocking the Police's instructions for visiting fans to be in the ground by 10am, will he now apologise to them and say "I understand why now" will he ****. If any single person in that stadium should have understood the consequences of his actions it's Martin O'Neil. I thought any lap of honour/ cebrating with fans etc was stopped in old firm games after Police instructions in 2018.
Pretty poor from Celtic to get so excited about beating Rangers on penalties. Good thing might be no away fans at either Ibrox or Celtic Park and how about no OF fans allowed in any other ground in Scotland. Just for a season, split the money they always get for their league position, over the other teams?
What annoys me most is that there are more non old firm clubs, more fans of the other clubs who actually go to the game, more administrators who have no connection with Rantic yet Stockholm syndrome attitude by media and clubs
Scottish football would survive without these two, I'd argue probably thrive.
