I agree with part of your comments but disagree over Hourihane"s comments , I think he will be certainly sacked , not because of his ability in the job , no , simply it is what our incompetent owners do , they look to deflect their mistakes which reflect on the pitch by bowing to the unhappy fans and sacking the manager , you only have to look at the sacking of Collins to prove that and the then they hope this will stimulate enough interest to sell a few season tickets , rinse and repeat and the gradual decline continues. Hourihane is saying this by telling the truth , if you think things are going to improve then basically you can forget it , he is obviously referencing the way the owners are running the show and for weeks now fans demand that Hourihane stops sugar coating it and be honest and now he is being honest the Conor haters are using it as a stick to beat him with, I have the opposite view, I say well said lad , say it as it is , he is going to get sacked anyway so why not tell some home truths , the fire stick armchair fans will stomp their feet and the owners will duly oblige , they should put the club for sale and try their best to move the club on because if they think that making Hourihane the pantomime villain will solve things they are wrong because the next poor incumbent in the post will suffer the same outcome .
