Most people dont educate their kids any more and the idea of being cruel to be kind is dead. Parents treat their children like friends and just try to give them what they want all the time - the results are plain to see.

What we're finding in schools is that parents say 'no' at lot less than they used to; children are used to getting their own way more and more and we're left to deal with the fallout of ''dysregulated' children. The problem-and it's a massive problem in every school I know of-has grown exponentially since Covid but it was brewing before then.

If you think the current generation of ***** is bad...

As another school worker - 100% agreed.

And I'm secondary school, so we're getting it all with hormones as well

Here in Brazil the teachers Ive spoken to get irritated by parents who expect the school to educate their kids 100%. They reckon it should be 50% from the school and 50 % from home.
I have to agree with them. When, and this is true, the parents of a class mate of one of mine called a meeting with the teacher because the latter said NO to their son. Apparently hes not used to being told that and was upset when he got home.
I was always quite pleased when mine got a rollicking at school - good training for life (and God help that little kid).
