i must admit Tiger, I was a tad surprised at the support for Revell, hence the tongue in cheek reply. You were quite anti Hamshaw, were you not? Revell is a totally different manager, from what we can see. But, it’s still the ‘home grown’ average player turned manager approach, which seems to attract a negative response.
We had a results manager in terms of promotions here for 6 years, still got a constant pasting from a large section of fans.
Which now seems at odds to a support of Revell.

I knew it was going to be a good listen after this opening exchange...

Interviewer - Lee, how are you feeling after losing in such circumstances to Barnsley today?

    LC - Very very angry.

    🤣

    The game....same ****e,different day.
Gray,Nombe and the wonderful Gore tried hard, that's it really.
Benson and Jules only passed to Barnsley players, utterly dire, just finish the season now.
Very impressed with Clark afterwards, think he may be the man for next season.

Not bothered on how we play. Ever since Warne we have been promised "Good football", "Rotherham DNA" etc and what have we had?

I would like a season of not worrying about the bottom half of the table - would accept pragmatism & results over style.

Stevenage were bigger, stronger, quicker and simply better organised than what we were. We might have looked prettier, but the inane passing across the back 4 is just as tedious to watch. Stevenage also looked threatening at set pieces. We have a corner and I am more worried about the opposition breaking on us than I am actually threatening.

That interview did not need to be kept in the dressing room, I think it was a well calculated interview. He knows that a derby defeat was the perfect time, after a few weeks he has seen enough to know where the issues lie and the best way to deal with the cancer is cut it out. I don’t know if he is the right man for next year, and I am not keen on spending more money buying another Stevenage manager either. What I do know is that interview was a clear message to his employer, you have people here that you pay very well that are scamming you and scamming the fans, that is what I heard. We need players that want to play football, that want to win and are willing to treat their bodies the way they should do to achieve that, we need a chairman that removes the “yes men” and realizes that playing to his ego has led to failure and a waste of his money. The sooner this painful season is over the better, but I hope TS is not listening to the clowns that got us and him in this mess and he is listening to some new voices that can help him protect his legacy. Start sacking them now Tony we need a huge clear out top to bottom.

That may be true but don't you think it's strange that the only dissenting voices against TS are on social media, and I doubt if he spends much time on there.
If people really are so anti TS why aren't they making their feelings plain at the home games?
Personally I think apathy has taken over and a lot of people just aren't bothered any more.

The club is in a mess. I’m certain that we will get some announcement at the end of the season about what’s happening. It’s not just the results it’s the whole club the way it’s being run and the communication or lack of.
I stayed in pub yesterday and watched it on tv. First home game I’ve voluntary missed in over 10years plus.
I didn’t regret it in fact it just feels empty like there is very little emotion there.

Well done Barnsley. After a lively first 35 minutes when both teams squandered chances, somehow they engineered a 3 on 1 break, and that was the game over really.
Apart from having the better team, they played the conditions much better, short accurate passing as ours got more erratic. High balls into a hurricane type wind really isn't the best o tactics

There was a mass walkout after the second goal went in but there was anger from the remaining fans and TS was called out by a number of disgruntled fans in the West Stand.I agree that apathy has set in and season ticket fans are just not taking their seats at matches.I SUSPECT THE TURNOUT WILL BE VERY LOW FOR OUR NEXT HOME MATCH. Surely the board must make some announcement after our relegation will be sealed at Wigan.
