To be fair, I think the **** up in the transfer window was because nobody was there. . . hence why so spectacularly wrong.

So sadly, no one to get rid for it really.

A defeat to Bournemouth at home may be the turning point for quite a few.

The way we're playing, does anyone see where our next point is coming from? End of the season is going to see us a bit too close to 18th for comfort. And let's not do the 'but we're only 5 points off Europe' bollocks-we've been saying that all season and haven't once looked like pushing on.

Ironic-and sad-that Eddie arrived to take us out of that sort of situation yet, here we are...

I think if we lose and we lose as meekly as we have other games - sections of the crowd will turn. Against Palace their was confusion and some boos.

At St. James. . . I think it'll be felt a lot more.

I'd also note, Eddie has never beaten Bournmouth in the league at Newcastle.

I think he has to at least, as you said, put on a good performance.

I don’t think it’s fair to credit him when we have done well, and just blame players when we don’t… because while there have been a number of individual mistakes they have happened when we have played poorly in games anyway… similarly you can’t give him all the credit for good signings then excuse him when we have made poor choices… in-fact he was probably more involved this summer gone than any previous windows (not having a DoF) so arguably it’s another big question mark over him.

Bournemouth are turning up on the back of beating Arsenal away, so their tails will be up… how we setup and how we play will be the biggest factor in the crowds reaction even if we don’t get 3 points.

I’m a bit worried that we’ll see either Wissa or Woltemade thrown on to start, and if we lose he can point to criticism of not using them/integrating them… but when they have been sidelined/not played much at all, I don’t think putting them in a team performing poorly anyway justifies his past decisions.

To be fair, one of Burn or Trippier may actually be an asset due to how we've looked with a lack of leadership on field.

I think we will - Eddie has never won against Bournmouth in the league, plus they are flying high after Arsenal win. . . I've almost written this one off already sadly.

I've heard that, I've also heard 2 more games - so not banking on it till we see him walk out.
