Thread: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin

In hindsight he would have been a good signing for us especially instead of Wissa. Howe really wanted him but there was a collective grown even anger every time we were linked with him. I suspect Howe won?t be swayed away from a target he wants again, thinking someone like Connor Gallagher and Jacob Murphy new contract.

We are shopping in a different store this summer, there?s no selling the club as the next power house of football.

    Even now - I wouldn't want him.

Howe might not be swayed but I think Wilson will be - MUrphy for example, I can't see him being given a new contract at his age to be honest.

Wasn't Murphy given a new contract last year?

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

    I don't think he'll get another.

    Ah, gotcha.
Aye, barring the odd decent cross, he offers absolutely nothing.

I don?t think we should sign DCL now either I just believe he would have turned out to be a decent signing last summer with every thing that went on.

Never wanted DCL and still dont (even though Im sure Eddie could improve him). Well be saying next that we shouldve kept Callum Wilson cos he scored yesterday.

If Howe stays Hopefully the owners will sell Murphy Pope Willock etc even though Howe would want to keep them.
