    Just Googled him.

We are obviously in the deep do-do.
He was running the Man City Elite Development Squad for three years, on the basis that City don't put fools in charge of their youngsters, he must have something about him. Now he's just won promotion with Cardiff. There'll be worse candidates out there.

I had never heard of him until I read your post but then again what goes on in Wales does not hold much interest for me whatsoever. (No offence intended to our two regular posters from Wales).

He was in charge of the Cardiff team that gave us a good whupping in the League Cup last September. Footballed us off the park one of my mates told me.

Indeed. Me and the gang went and we were outplayed but I still didn't know he was the Bluebirds boss.

Me neither mon ami, all I know of him is what I've got off Wiki. I do like the sound of him though, we've just had Kompany and Parker and I really don't want another Big Time Charlie like Gerrard. This lad has been flying under the radar, I'd give him a chance, but would Big Time Alan ?

I'd go with Craig Bellamy sinkov. We went to the Chelsea away game when we drew 2-2 and the lads refused to buckle, it was all blood and grit. I reckon he would do it.

We may not know for a while, this lot of penny-pinchers will quite happily run through to July before they appoint someone. Think of the money they'll save.

They would have saved a dam site more by potting Parker last November when the writing was on the wall. Another might have got a tune out of some of this lot, it would have least put a few more million on their valuations.

False economy keeping a failing manager at the helm

Agreed. The only explanation can be that Potless Pace & Co. could not afford to get rid last year.

Bellamy for me too BT.Gerrard looks like a one hit wonder and I dont know enough about Barry-Murphy but would still prefer him to Gerrard. However knowing our owners they will go for Gerrard in order to put some lipstick on a pig.
