Personally, I would call those stone cold 'facts'.
Losers back losers.
I don't think he was an idol to anyone.
But some of the comments are simply ridiculous. He is accused on here of having a terrible defence, when the truth is that we didn't. Instead, the point is argued that it was at the expense of goals. No-one is saying it wasn't, that comment was in reply to the awful defence one.
Now look at your post. 'failed to do the job he was kept on to do .... twice'. Not true. He failed (just) once, and whether he would have failed a second time, we will never know. Cue ......'no chance we were going up'. Even if you say that, it doesn't change that your comment is not true.
On to signings ..... posted on here that his loan signings (apart from. Ellis) were awful, yet Calvin Miller is lauded as a superstar! It was said that his permanent signings are useless ..... The very same ones that received standing ovations last week.
Of course, it is absolutely true that he couldn't get them playing, but that is a completely different argument.
Posting things that are opinion as fact won't get people's respect either!
When viewed in complete isolation then I agree with (almost) every word.
But that's not the real world is it, that's not the whole story. Completely ignoring the impact of all others during NAs tenure is also not going get you taken seriously either.
He's old news, he's gone, he's another Notts manager who failed. Many many managers have also failed at Notts before him, he just joins a long list of failures.
Maybe it has something more to do with the club than all those managers who also failed along with NA.
Regardless it's all Burchnall baby now, and I'm 'All in'#ChooChoo
