Asda only has one exit door and can accommodate over 500 people, why not the South Enclosure?

Dispersing at large crowd at the same time is the issue. it's unlikely 500 people will leave ASDA at exactly the same time.

    Even if there's a fire?

I want meaning that but I’ll tell you why I think it’s absurd.

Once inside Asda (indoors mind) everyone shuffles around enclosed aisles, there’s barely room to socially distance. They’re constantly on the move. In addition people are constantly picking items up and putting them back ready to hand in their Covid to the next inspector of tinned tomatoes.

They also don’t leave dens at the same time, crowd dispersal at the end of the orient game was row by row. Oddly it happens naturally enough that way long before Covid existed. So yes they go through the same exit but not at the same time as it’s literally only wide enough for about 6/8 at at time.

I think there is a general principle that you need to provide a circular route to access and leave premises. Been recently to a local hotel where you walked in the front door and were encouraged to leave by the restaurant fire door exit. Same situation with our church, go in front door, exit via side door.

The Tesco Extra at the Kingsway West retail park only has one exit but that does not seem to be a problem. Dundee supporters could easily vacate the South Enclosure with the stewards ensuring that the remain one metre apart.
    It is not rocket science.

Fair enough. Tell that to DCC.

They'd also have to enclose that toilet as that was flagged

I agree but if people are daft enough to go along with this then really what can you do... they will always be complient.

It will take pretty much everyone to stop complying.....ain't gonna happen though and the closer we get to winter it will be back to square one.

Remember the "emergency" powers in Scotland have been extended..........Lockdown every winter, restrictions forevermore....posted that first in May 2020......here we are July 21 and it's still with us.

Prophets are rarely recognised at the time of their prophesies. The good thing is that as time goes on it seems to me that more people are coming to think the way you have been thinking. Boris is struggling to keep his party on message, the medics have admitted that the covid virus cannot be wiped out so they have had to change their tune. I suspect that they have done so because they can see the way the wind is blowing and they will be anticipating a major crisis for the NHS in this winter. The "we told you so" tendency is just waiting to rise up again.

Can anyone explain why they are admitting youngsters to hospital? I thought that the virus did not do much damage to the young?
