Freeman was disappointing midweek, so maybe was looking to freshen it up there.

We were sluggish early doors, summed up by the mistake by Fuchs at the goal, but I think our problems mostly stemmed from the lack of movement, physicality, ability of the front 3 to link up and make the ball stick. It really was quite alarming the drop off in quality, which is bit worrying if you are relying on your best eleven just being fit and on form every week.
As an ACL reconstruction survivor I'll pipe up again JA: he's had two reconstructions across both knees and we we playing on soaking plastic. I'm surprised he was on the pitch at all on Wednesday...

I guess Tam has one eye firmly on having the squad at his disposal, team ready? There's a long way to go in the league and I'm sure he is eyeing European qualification based on our performances so far. If he is getting carried away about challenging for the league (who hasn't dreamed about it?), then he needs as many of his squad ready to step into the team as possible. Then there's the Scottish Cup?

However, apart from Appere's early promise a couple of season's ago, I feel his destiny lies in one of the lower leagues. Chalmers should probably get another chance to prove himself. He has the means, but can he use it? It's time to stop faffing about with Big Max. That's three games he's been on the bench and in two of them has come on to listen to the final whistle. This guy must be fully tried soon to see if he's any good! We need to bulge the net more often!

I was impressed by how we kept playing decent football to the end to try and rescue match. Big disappointment was how ineffective the replacements brought in to starting line-up were. That has to be huge blow/let down for manager.

He had said he would make a few changes. Why always against st johnstone? It brings back horrible memories lol. So maybe chalmers and appere have had their chance for a bit? Credit to zander clark tbh. Onwards i dont think we will crumble and will have more blips making chances but Clark whilst busy isnt our answer.

I’m wondering with the Chalmers and Appere thing was that TC knew the Fermers would be playing 3 at the back with Booth and O’Halloran pushing up. I suspect with Appere that the thought was that he would be able to use a height advantage over OHalloran but of course for all his height should be an attribute, Appere just doesn’t use it at all and he was pretty ineffective as a result. Contrast with once Niskanen was on who then utilised the space behind created by OHalloran pushing forward with genuine pace and as a result the chances created started to shoot up. Nae wonder OHalloran was subbed halfway through the second half as Callum Davidson saw this and acted. Had the flying Finn started it may well have been Davidson that was forced into half time changes and not Tam.

Nope...we get behind all these lads..Tam included! The gamble didn't pay off yesterday but if it wasn't for great goalkeeping...we would be saying that it was a another great day at the office for TC.
We are feeling the pinch of an injured McNulty and a new striker trying to get up to speed.
The measure of TC and his team, will be how they react to the loss!
Fuxxake, said in my OP no need to change it dramatically. No going to criticice TC, he's realised his mistake but we need to churn again in the Jan window.
I'm afraid Louis has shown nothing at this level and the jury's out on Chalmers now.
Not being able to swap Clark for Max on 70 was disappointing as he'd made his allocated subs.
That og from Jeando has been coming tbf. He's got away with one or two like that in previous games. Hopefully that's out of the way now and he'll go back to playing it away a bit earlier.

I'm maybe being a bit harsh but I reckon Siegrist could have done better with the goal also. If he's positioned a foot further to the left he gets to that imo

I think the same too, at the match I thought Crawford had played it around Mulgrew and Benji was unsighted, but seeing it back it wasn't that way at all.

Once Jim got his own players in they were very fit sides but in fairness to TC and Liam Fox this current side are also top notch in that department.

There was several passes from Levitt that were pinged in too hard. Passes which Ronaldo could maybe control but Nicky couldn't 😎 But there was times in that first half where several of our players first touch let them down too.
