But as much as I dislike Lineker as a presenter, suspending him over this is pretty ridiculous.
No presenter and no pundits tomorrow night. Great, just show the football.

PMSL laughing EP, who are the radical socialists on here?, at least AC has owned the title and is proud of it.

What seems to have gone unnoticed is Lineker's part of the tweet comparing the Tories with the Nazi's. That is the offensive part.

I didn't answer any of sidders questions as I am sure he knows the answers to all the questions he put to me. the bait has to be tastier than that.

I don't agree that Lineker should be suspended/cancelled, just told that as he is such a prominent part of the supposedly politically neutral BBC, regardless of whether he very conveniently is a free lance whatever for others, he should keep his political leanings to himself.

For those convinced the BBC is biased towards the Tories, it was interesting to hear Paul Embery, political commentator and Trade Union activist say today on GB News, that he believes that the BBC has a strong leaning in favour of the left, and gave examples of why he believes this to be the case. This was on Michelle Dewberry's tea time political debate show, where she has a guest from either side of the political divide to discuss the day's news stories. All very adult and balanced debate, sadly which you do not get on the BBC.

The socialists bit is easy, I was more interested in the 'radical' bit. Who are the others?

Get your facts right, he compared the language of the Tories with the Nazis. Although I can see why a nit-picking snowflake would be offended.

I'd say it's the personification of a typical celebrity these days. Lives right, votes or signals left.

Hopefully they will sack him off after this, not for his opinions but for what he brings to table vastly overpaid and replaceable.

Wonder if the viewing figures will go up, with no presenter/pundits spouting their crap.

How could I have known the answers to my questions? I was asking what YOU meant in your post which totally lacked clarity.

For about the 5th time, the BBC isn’t just biased toward the Tories, the BBC ARE FCKING TORIES. ITS RUN BY TORIES.

As for ‘balanced debate’ on GBeebies, lol.
