I agree Pocket, I think if Warne had Warnock upstairs good cop, bad cop we could have really moved on.

If they achieve that then another 150 million could get them into a position of challenge in the Championship. If they make it to the Prem, then they will scoop up immigrant families from that area and could easily get to 25-30K.

Its a long journey but for 200 million investment the returns would be there. Compare that with a club like Rotherham. Very little potential. Our fan base is fixed as we have seen over the past 15 years.
Not sure how those numbers stack up with FFP rules though?

That’s a fair point but it’s less of an issue in the lower leagues and of course it will take time. But the opportunity is there.

But who is to blame for that Brin? The city and people of Milton Keynes or the Football League? The latter get the justified abuse for letting the Bury situation arise, not the team/town who benefited from their demise, whoever that was. I doubt anyone can even remember.

Good luck to PW I say. As has been said it's a chance to stamp his mark over a few seasons. We've had some fascinating battles with them over the years, promotion and relegation and seem to have come out on top on every occasion. I look forward to renewing our rivalry.
I do think it's time they got their own identity, and dumped the silly 'Dons' moniker. It seems daft now.
