They have wealthy backers, a state of the art stadium and they are sited in a London commuter belt location that is heavily populated with immigrant families who have no current ties to the other football clubs in the locality. It is not beyond reality that someone could invest 50 million to get them into the Championship and they now have a proven manager who can get them there. If they achieve that then another 150 million could get them into a position of challenge in the Championship. If they make it to the Prem, then they will scoop up immigrant families from that area and could easily get to 25-30K.
Its a long journey but for 200 million investment the returns would be there. Compare that with a club like Rotherham. Very little potential. Our fan base is fixed as we have seen over the past 15 years.
