Over 25 papers now published on lockdowns effectiveness according to a pal of mine.

    Couples of quotes.

" there is no evidence that more restrictive nonpharmaceutical interventions contributed substantially to bending the curve of the new cases in England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain or USA in early 2020."

    European journal of clinical investigation.

"Influences on effects of NPIS (lockdown) are non robust and highly sensitive to model specification.

Claimed benefits of lockdown appear grossly exaggerated"

Ooohhh, statistically significant. A term not coined by our governments in relation to the effects of Covid because?

If you answered it's because the effects are not statistically significant you can go to the top of the class; well done.
If you deflected and said but Nicola's got this, you're a cock.

See, that year at the Open University wasn't wasted was it?

During the great songs of London was the prime minister at the time not attributed with a quote along the lines of......." I know masks have no effect but I have to be seen to be doing something."

Depends, did you read the study, check it was robust, read the peer reviews, and analyse the methodology,or did you read a quote on a website?

If you did the first,it was not a waste of a year,if you did the second,well....

No actually,I don't think it matters in your case, you took a phrase you recognised, and tried to be smart.

That makes you the whole of an ass
