Holden Jesus that would be a bad appointment.

Didn't even last a whole season om his last job he got the sack after losing 6 games in a row.

Than when he was care taker manager he had about 5 games in charge.

Just because they had no experience doesn't mean there going to all turn out like Warne.

Be a very bad appointment in my eyes.

I really hope we can do better than Holden or Ainsworth. We are becoming progressive with how we play, lets not go regress with the second of those to.

But isn't this like player recruitment?

A combination of wages and not wanting to come here because it's a tough challenge.

Didn't realise he'd played for us.

Conclusion: I can’t remember the fans being as split on their choice as they are now many names being mentioned/linked
Not everyone is going to get their first choice When the appointment is made we have to get behind them as best we can
Remember when Evans was appointed I didn’t want him what with his previous at Boston I think it was but he was one of the best managers we ever had
I guess what I’m trying to say is don’t judge a book by it’s cover someone who appears to be a bad choice may end up being an inspired choice Warne being the perfect example! Conversely we could end up with a Stubbs! Or a Danny Bergara God forbid
Let’s just hope the powers that be get it right must admit after watching the Rob Scott interview I feel a lot better sounds like he’s got a bit of clout as regards the appointment (some might say too much power)
For what it’s worth I’m hovering towards Dean Holden I admit I don’t know much about him just what I’ve heard he favours the pressing game Warney used he’s got Championship experience and he’s out of work so no compo to pay for TS
(Some will say he’s out of work for a reason but there’s managers out of work all the time) We also have to remember who we are yes we’re in top half of Championship yes TS is one of the more patient Chairman yes we’ve got a good squad BUT remember Cardiff and Huddersfield are also chasing managers and they are going to be more attractive than us
    Let’s hope for the best!

I think you're doing the club a disservice when you say it is a tough challenge. There are infinitely tougher gigs than us, we are in a really healthy place. It is / should be an exciting proposition to many looking to progress their careers (if working lower down the pyramid) or reestablish their credentials (if out of work).

Money will be a factor but there will be applicants that actually want to try and play football and can work with a budget on our level.

All personal preference but an Ainsworth appointment would send out completely the wrong message, to me anyway.

I suppose another way of looking at it WLB is to say I hope the next appointment DOESN'T turn out like Warne. 3 relegations in 6 years ain't a good record and if you take the emotion away, they are the facts.

Yes agree with that but anybody taking the job runs the risk of getting a relegation on his cv and also has to live with a PW comparison.

You play type of football to suit players you've got. You've got to be adaptable passing game against some sides against others more direct. I don't want a good loser as next manager such as Hurst.
