"was previously" as in tense past.

I see Michael Portaloo now has a show on GB News. All information impartially presented of course, and one shouldn't pay any attention to his

history as a Tory MP and Tory pundit on Beeb productions.

However the suggestions that the BBC has bias towards the government is absolutely tosh.
It’s riddled with wokery at best and at worst it undermines the democratic freedoms which the nation is built upon. This same crowd will disappear overseas with their pots of money when the country goes down the pan.
    It’s ABC…. anti British corp
    Needs overhauling.
Have you ever watched Question Time? Fiona Bruce is widely viewed as having a Tory bias and there is analysis which supports that. Same with Laura Kuenssberg. Andrew Neil?

For every view there is an opposing one.

    He's pretty Wet these days.

GB News is under Ofcom rules just like the BBC.

Doesn't really matter whether the BBC is right-wing or left-wing only that people are still being forced to pay them £159 a year even if they never watch the BBC, which is ridiculous.

    You Tool.

Have you read what you posted and the comments you signed off with?

'No harm in jumping to conclusions to justify your prejudice though. Eh?' Is that what you did and is that the reason you posted something misleading and inaccurate?

It is wrong but let's just say 'IF'. Eh?

    From the BBC,s own website…

Lineker has agreed to stick to the current guidelines while this review is carried out - but what this will mean in practice is not clear

Oh dear. They don’t appear to have had robust guidelines in place and don’t appear to have got a grip of things even now. Vague and open to interpretation.
The head of the BBC is on stoney ground over this whole affair and the buck stops with him.
Shareholders of a company wouldn’t put up with this level of incompetence and loss of earnings so why should a corporation funded by the taxpayer

Along with a host of other BBC celebs who have made explicit political statements without anyone blinking an eye, until of course it comes from the poster boy hate target of the Tory rightsters:

Oh the hypocrisy. From the BBC leaders, from the media and the public. As Armando Ionnucci says in this article “If I was Tim Davie, I’d come out of Broadcasting House and say, ‘Everything I’ve done in the last four days – forget it. I was under pressure. Pretend it didn’t happen. I’m going to have a bath for the rest of the weekend’.”

I think most of us should perhaps do the same
