It will be like watching the millers get trounced if I stay up which aint a pleasant feeling.

Could be interesting some of early results because Sunderland is usually one of em normally a safe Labour seat but with a population in favour of Brexit. If Labour hold on to that fairly comfortably they could have a good night. If they don't the brexit factor could come in to play in a lot of Labour seats. Intriguing... My own view is that the Tories will scrape thru with a small majority but enough to get Brexit thru...

Then another 5 years of misery...
I'll be gay disco dancing with the missus at a Bjorn Again (ABBA tribute) Christmas show on Thursday night. We'll be having fun with glittery balls whatever happens :-)

With a lot of luck you will be celebrating the demise of the odious Ian Duncan-Smith and Dominic Raab...

Why does that rile you so much Monty? It's a statement of fact, we're affected by public services policy, and that of course influences how we see things. But that isn't any superior to any other profession in any other sector. Just that we have direct impact on underfunded services. Why can't we reference that on a political thread? Calm yer pants lad

I suppose if riled I was it was the "entire family" bilge; brought visions of lots of little ragings running around doing good. My own view is that charities are primarily intended to provide employment for the children of the middle classes. I doubt they do any good at all for their supposed recipients. Other than providing well paid jobs it's all about salving the consciences of liberal middle class professionals.

These NHS lies from leaked documents are getting a bit boring

Still I expect they might get a few sheep to move in a certain direction

Grist, the world is quickly going mad and certainly losing a sense of perspective. Placido Domingo hounded out of Covent garden and the Met for upsetting some second rate snowflake. Today on the BBC news all day the second or third story on each bulletin was some Man City fan making monkey gestures at Man Utd players. Do gooders, politicians, police, anti-racist spokespeople and Kick It Out wastrels all on to say how shocking. Pathetic.

Just listened to the Villa Leicester game on Radio 5 and on the news immediately after the Man City story had jumped to first place, complete with interview from Kick It Out spokesman. Then we had a fire in Delhi, a murder, a bit of politics and last, a brief mention of two people arrested at Dover in connection with terrorism.
No, Exile, I probably didn't phrase it well. I went for my blood tests and being an old codger they gave me a flu jab. I only mentioned the statins thing because I thought (perhaps wrongly) there were parallels with worries over the flu jab. Cheers.
