Yes. I would think that's right, we might be seeing a lot more of Scott in the next few months.

When he was stood over that ball he was in direct line with my seat in the Jimmy Mac upper, I honestly KNEW he would score.

He has the eyes of an assassin and the cool of Jimmy Mac himself.

I loved the sheer joy he expressed following the strike.

I hope he gets a game at Ipswich next week.

When we got that free-kick on the edge of the box instead of a pen, I said to Mrs S, who was doing a sudoku on the sofa next to me, 'B@stard, it's too close, you can't get it over the wall and under the bar from there'. I could have added, 'unless you're a fecking genius', but Mrs S doesn't like me using the F word.

    .

Fortunate to get the foul imo, and lucked in when O'Shea jumped to "his" left, forced the wall over leaving the required opening for the free kick to make target.

    ....que sera sera.

He was on the Turf post match Friday night having the obligatory "new shirt" photos.

How on earth is VK managing to buy a young Swedish international centre-back for less than the price of Harry Maguire's boots?

Two CBs signed, must mean that at least one, and possibly both, of THB and Beyer have no long term future at Turf Moor.

You've mentioned it before mon ami, but the contrast between our current recruitment and the recruitment under the previous regime is simply stunning, it's like they're off different planets. I wonder why ? One thing it isn't is the money, we're spending next to nowt now, it's not that.
