Take your pick from Austin, Bostock and Palmer for MOM today.
I’ll go with that. Would normally give Palmer MOTM every game but Bostock got it for me today, he’s looking sharper and quicker with every game now.

This will be unpopular, and even more so considering his two goals….but I didn’t think Austin was as good as others think. I just think he holds the ball too long or runs himself into traffic. Fair play to him though, two lovely goals. He is by no means a replacement for Ruben.

That's why I asked the question. Of course the drawn games have had a negative impact on the points total. That's stating the obvious and that's the same for every club. We've won a club record number of games that means by my calculations we must have drawn/lost the lowest number combined.

Let me guess the records means nothing unless we get promoted, then and only then is the season a success? Jeez Louise not again lol

JB was MOTM for me just shading Austin and Palmer. Agree about Bostock looking quicker and sharper with surprise pace when successfully tracking back and winning the ball at a key time. He's really showing the quality we expected for a player is his calibre, when he signed.

I didn’t think we were too bad first half. Started off well and finished ok and they had a 10 minute spell in between.

Once we got the goal we showed our class and made the 1-2 place difference in the league table a bit of a joke. If it wasn’t for Macca Sam Austin would be a shoe in for player of the season for me. Two great finishes and never stops running.

If Woking are the standard, the playoffs seem a bit less daunting this evening.

I’ve given Bostock some stick on here before but today he ran the show in midfield. Strong, straight passing and for me if Austin hadn’t scored twice Bostock would have romped MOTM.

👀👀 Sam Austin for player of the season!? That’s a big statement!

I know Macca has 40 odd goals but surely Palmer is a shoe in again, no one has been anywhere near the level he has been at for pretty much every game this season.

    However!
Points achieved, goals scored, club records are nothing more than icing on a cake that has failed to rise if we cock up now.

    We're all different.

Some celebrate the win, some go to the match thread to see who they can ridicule.

Jones can’t go to the byline on the right but can on the left as he is more confident with his left foot
TBH whichever league we are in next season will need an attacking LWB with a bit more pace because we are restricted in our creativity if Ruben is marked out of the game or whatever reason not having a good one
The Wing Backs are our main source of attacking in our system
