Undisclosed fee. Looks like our poster The Dug Out was correct.

You’re guessing / making it up aren’t you? Why would the club lie about the fee? Would Scott publish such a heartfelt message if he had an axe to grind with his employers? It hasn’t worked out for him since our promotion, he needed a new challenge and an offer came in once he was back playing, we therefore kept him out of the match day squad to allow him to remain fit before departing. All now makes sense why Maynard made some less than convincing replies about his recent absence.

It's not in anyone's interest to publish what went on behind closed doors. If a player were to leave under a cloud, in the eyes of some prospective employers, that would be a stain on their character.

Agreed - but I think his personal farewell would be a little different. He’s not going to come out and say f**k you all is he?

Goodbye Cedwyn Scott / Matty Saunders Absence etc. etc.

I appreciate there is a Scott thread already, but there is a lot of nonsense and needlessness on there.

The man who delivered the moment that all of us will cherish forever deserves a decent send off.

So, thank you Cedwyn. You will always hold a special place in many a Magpies heart.

The moment that penalty went in is one I will never forget. Hugging my old man and brother in tears after such a wonderful season was a moment to behold.

We will always have Wembley ❤️

I travelled a long way for that unmissable game which from Cedwyn Scott?s spot kick onwards became an unforgettable game for every Notts fan in attendance.

The feeling for the 40 mins after the ball hit the back of the net was truly magical and a little emotional.

For that I am forever thankful to this young man.

    Good luck

All the best Cedwyn, really hope it goes well for him. Provided one of the best moments of my life.

Along with every member of that squad, will always be a legend in my book.
