Don't think we'll ever see that happening tbh. He never really imposes himself when he's played as a striker despite being a big lump. Can't recall him being that great in the air either? He's undoubtedly played his best football on the left, cutting inside and driving with the ball at his feet. Play to his strengths & keep him out there imo. He'd be great in the 433 that we play.
A merited victory for United. That was a real battle against saints. Delighted to say we stood up and matched their physicality.
Great team performance, but special mention for Sporle, Fuchs, Mulgrew, Clark.
Fans were brilliant.
Good start from Tam.
Looking forward to beating Robbie Neilson's mob.
I thought he did well there at Ibrox last season, second visit, we played really well and scoreline was very unjust to us on the day
Either way, sooner he is fully fit to give us that option the better
Great result, didnt see any of it so will hold back comments on performance but great to read some of the stuff on here and us defying a lot of the pre-season worries about our points totals after so many games.
Only saw a couple of brief snatches of the coverage and was impressed at a much better work ethic all round. Effectively doing a St J to St J.
This rate has to be maintained going forward. Even McN got pass marks but FFS Pawlett. Yes he scored but wouldn't even get half marks for his diving.
Totally agree.
I quite like Pawlett even though he gets a bit of stick on here I think his inconsistencies are probably down to his injuries but on his day he can be a very good player but the diving is becoming his trademark rather than his driving runs from midfield, he was definitely clipped by Davidson but the theatrical way he went down and with his history of doing this frequently in previous games then referees will always have his number.
