Remember ogbene having games like that where he couldn't get past a man (not the last 2 seasons admittedly ) btw gwru. He doesn't need to bomb on. His job is defending and if you think bramhall is the better option check out the Exeter highlights. Bramhall got caught more than one in that game.

Suicide only playing 2 in the middle. Where's width in the side?

I agree with you we are crying out for someone to get the game with the scruff of the neck and drive us forward.
Wiles did it to a degree and at times was effective.
Wiles could have been the answer Yak but never seemed to be the full package. At times he was brilliant but all too often he was a bit like a jigsaw that doesn't get finished because there's a piece missing.
I remember one game at NYS, although not who it was against, when Wiles burst through and was about 10 yards clear then as he approached the penalty area he fell over.
That kinda summed him up for me......but we did get a decent fee for him

gru, sorry but I'm calling you out on this. You obviously didn't go to Exeter, I did. Powell along with Nombe, were the only two in the side, when they came on, that lifted our game and ran it forwards for others to follow so stop talking rubbish pal.

Powell in the middle tonight and let's see what he delivers.

Evidence for this? I'd agree last year but the opposition is not of that quality.

Want to see what Powell & Mcwilliams can do. Latter from one half I've seen him play at the NYS looks mobile. Not seen Powell being at a game yet.

Then how can you post, 'Powell came on at Exeter doesn't look like he'll go past opposition players?' What bit of Powell at Exeter did you see?
