The other day it was 'if we pay more than what we offered Smith TS would be stupid' and today it is 'we haven't paid 18k, TS is tight'. I suppose either way you'll be able to bash the chairman.

And you do make me laugh Derbymiller. You don't 'buy' all this about funds being the deciding factor. If he wanted to be here he would. What a load of rubbish. Nobody can be that financially naive. Players says yes to both clubs. Both clubs enter negotiations with the loaning club. Club a offers 18k. The full wage. Yes, we will accept that gleefully says the loaning club. Club b, us, we will offer 10k. Nah, you're alright. Loaning club to player, we have accepted a bid from club a, you can join there. You can't join the other because in business we have to agree to a deal and we didn't. I know bugger all about business but it isn't that hard to understand what has happened.

Crap news, wouldn't of given him 18k a week so club did the right thing. Hopefully we find someone else but heart says we probably won't.

My point was that the impression that came out from the press chatter (could be crap!!) was that the two clubs had already agreed the financial element of the deal, so if Wigan came in with a better deal at the last minute, then Watford broke the agreement with Rotherham.

. That was an answer to your question. Maybe it’s an age thing , your brain doesn’t work like it used to .

The insults on this board are getting tedious. Debate is fine. Personal comments are not.

Great answer. So you don't really know what you want other than for the manager to walk away. Brilliant.

    Happy clapper?

Well I'm clapping with one hand

TS is a great business man, PW is a good manager but together they've peaked.

Maintain the status quo and I'm happy but if there are genuine plans to improve further then PW isn't the man to do it.

To add. TS cannot bridge the gap in one go without investing at a level that would seriously compromise us should the worst happen and we still get relegated. We would have no quick way to regenerate the funds lost whilst maintaining the quality of squad that we have. RUFC isn't a money making machine so you have to be more careful than other clubs.

It is a shame when you aren't remotely interested in engaging in conversation and hearing where the opposite viewpoint comes from and why. You absolutely despise it when people say about moaners on here, 'they just have an opposite viewpoint', you generally say. But then anyone who disagrees with you is just a lick arse, TS is a God, fool. Where has the middle ground gone?

Which is down to a better squad. Or am I missing something?
I wondered about this. I assume we would be employing someone to smash pans outside the hotel rooms of all visiting players before a game and install sauna level heat into the away dressing room.
