There was no pressure to broadcast we wanted rid. While player himself and agent might secretly have wanted away to the papers he was saying he was ready to play for united - same obvious line united had to play if wanted a fee

In theory correct based on what we know. All I'm saying is we don't know everything. Say he had a fallout with the medical team Ray gets involved, maybe even ST gets involved and Bell goes two fingers on it.

dinnae think it was mismanaged he wanted to leave - ok website announcement was another c0ck up from management but hey ho. Liked Bell but I am led to believe we could be lining up a bit of a partnership with Southampton so if thats true maybe get some other young loan players over next few years.
