Hopefully an update from the National League. I suspect Barrow will be promoted and the play off positions will be determined by PPG.

Good news IMO. We would play Yeovil in the play-offs if it's applied to the NL.

If one team is being relegated from League Two then that now paves the way for two clubs to be accepted into the football league from the National League.

If the National League copy League Two then I guess Barrow will get the first automatic promotion spot.

Hopefully the National League will have a meeting tomorrow to determine if they are going to have the playoffs or not such that clubs like ours can prepare straight away or if not go and lick our wounds.

If the playoffs are to be concluded prior to 30th June when player contracts expire then ideally the final needs to take place on the weekend of 27th/28th June. If the clubs need four weeks to prepare for the play offs then the earliest the first round of playoff games could be played would be on the weekend 20/21st June. That’s four weeks from this Saturday.

That’s why it’s now decision time for the National League one way or another.

If the playoffs go ahead they will have to be earlier than later because the promoted club will need a transfer window to get new players in.

That is the news I expected as if they didnt relegate anyone from league 2 it will cause issues with other teams in league 1 and NL.

Now that is decided we need the NL to say play offs will take place which in fairness they couldn't say anything until EFL.said what they are doing.

Looks like Ardley has effectively thrown the towel in.

Makes it easier for the NL to do exactly what Ardley will accept!

Extraordinary timing I must say, just as we appear to have a chance of playing again for what we were supposedly fighting for, Ardley gives them the green light to forget play offs and wrap it all up today and hand the opposition promotion. I shouldn't be surprised really.

I'd be interested to know if our owners are on the same page.
