I've thought exactly the same from a very early stage. The outcome will be that 'some gatherings didn't fully comply with the rules, but the Prime Minister was unaware. Boris acted in good faith, and is utterly appalled at the way he was misled'.

For that to work, the public have to believe that Boris was completely unaware of what was happening in his own house. I realise that number 10 isn't your usual 'two up two down' property, but even Dominic Cummings testing his eyesight is more plausible.

Press conference in the no 10 rose garden coming up.
With Cummings and his cronies lurking in the background ready to release another damaging leak. It's going to be interesting.

Johnson should be in a bubble - that one in the opening credits of The Prisoner will do.

Whatever everyone's differing opinions on the subject are,I think the whole board, perhaps with the exception of Soccerman, now agrees that Johnson is a Number Two.

I believe they all are being honest, frank and as decisive as they can be facing this dreadful world-changing virus. I just wish they would not allow the lowlife gutter press particularly the Sun, Mirror & Daily star at these briefings who ask the most bazaar and stupid questions just to try and get a headline. These are strange and frightening times unknown by pretty much most of us, almost a war-like situation but it is what it is and at times like this the leadership being shown is just what the Country needs.

Boris will sit shaking his head like he does at PMQ then say, 'No rules were broken'.

I think he still believes that to be true because he wants it to be.
