    Just wait and see what happens. They will have taken best legal advice before dismissing him. It's too high profile not too.

    An employee can't be held responsible by their employer for everything they do in their private lives

    I bet his contract of employment says different. Within reason. In the last 10 years I could easily have dismissed approx. 5 people due to their conduct outside of working hours.

    Well that's exactly right.
    It depends upon what his specific contract of employment says and also taking into account general employment law. Unless we know what he's signed up to then it's guesswork
    Some contracts will a lot more stringent in this aspect particularly for those people in the public eye such as pro footballers. Although if you,re a certain RB for Man City then it doesn't really matter what you do.
    I presume his Employer has checked the terms of his employment and not just made a knee jerk reaction in an attempt to do the right thing in their eyes

    It has happened before in English domestic football. Players wear a Poppy on Armistice Day. Dont remember anyone getting sacked.

    Nice indeed!

    Not that Gfire is going to believe that Hepple and his girlfriend would ever say such a thing, but I would put this to great fire: Lets say that he had or had admitted to it, what would your view be about these comments then Mr Gfire? Are they ok or not?

    Even failing that, what would your view be of anyone coming out with comments like that?

    Not expecting an answer by the way although a very simple question that a 6 year old would attempt to answer at least.. but tic toc anyway...

    Perhaps they could have had a case against unfair dismissal if they had kep t quiet afterwards and just said they were just trying to give some balance in that white lives also matter.
    I understand the police aren't interested so then it's down to interpretation as to what they meant and that's a bit too subjective

    But they do seem to have shot themselves in the foot with these latest rants.
    I'm sure the Employment Law Advisors to their former employers are now feeling a lot more confident

    roly I'm not after anyone. What do you mean by after you tho? Who is this mysterious person who says I'm after you. Obviously you haven't read my messages to you because you haven't replied to me or have you? So I won't expect a response because you've blocked me. I'm hurt😂.
