If we were listed on the Stock Exchange our shares would have collapsed after listening to an hour of Tony and that's a FACT.

Does anyone know what the clubs outgoings are per season to see what difference is compared to our perceived incomings

1 Over 5000 season tickets sold.
2 TV revenue from home matches.
3 Merchandise sold in the club shop.
    4 £200,000 from DUSF.
5 Prize money up to around £1,500,000 depending on league position.
6 Legal fees paid by the supporters and subsequently Hearts who were ordered to pay costs.
7 A possible insurance pay out.
8 An interest free loan of up to £1,600,000 with nothing to repay until 2022 and paid back over twenty years.

I am sure the owner will be able to recover the money he is putting in now at the end of the season and other club owners will be doing the same.
Season ticket money yip tv money for home games doubt they make a fortune of that as season ticket holders get free but wee bit will help merchandise with no home crowds and out of towners not even allowed near shop I would guess would be down on what it would have been only a guess though don't know the numbers the money from the foundation has been great and I would bet a good help prize money won't get till near start of next season so will either help with depts or go to next seasons expenses but did have some money from last seasons championship winI think the legal fees were paid by hearts and have no Idea what has happened to money raised obviously would be happy for money I put in to go to utd running costs but others would not and don't know what they are doing with itThink they will just have to wait and see what happens with insurance payment Have they now been given the £1,600,000 loan thats great news never knew about that and will help loads.Does the owner have millions that he can just pump in lying about a lot of people with a lot of business interests are worth a lot of money but don't have it just lying about to pump in to our club I don't know if he has.We have lost loads of money with no crowds away support pay at gate supporters pie sale programe sales hospitality etc so really don't think any club owners apart from rancid will be loving this season and not got a clue where they getting all there money know its not one owner though.

GB I think that if MO could go back and change what he said, when he said it and how he said it he might want to change a few things.

In what I said I wasn't having a go at the FM because if I had the vote she would get it. (The vote! No, I wouldn't by the way)

He's human just like all of us, under pressure from Covid just like all of us. He was probably pi55ed off at the time watching his businesses leaking money and just let his frustrations get the better of him.

From what I've seen of him he appears committed although things can always change, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I completely understand what you said about fans spending in hard times to support the club but there's a difference between us supporters who grew up with the club in their blood and an owner with a new interest in the club.

Stokie boy its A water under the bridge,i would never support the Scottish Government over Dundee United but Tony was wrong when he was saying Scottish Rugby is being supported ahead of football because they are middle class and us football fans are bampots looking for a fight after the game.
Dearie, dearie me Tony that finished over 30 years ago FFS,i make no defence either for Sturgeon as she really has very little interest in sport but i will say that she would be more likely to back the working class rather than those from the borders who consider themselves in the middle class bracket.
I am still backing the owner and big Tony 100% however our fanbase have been hammered with negativity since the country went into lockdown almost a year ago,if you read all my posts on here yesterday i have named them all from no promotion to playing v The Bride in the court of session.
The only thing i was asking from the fortunate people who run our club was an acknowledgement of thanks for the effort the fans have made to ensure we won the court battle, took our rightful place in the Premiership and backed them to the hilt so we remain there.

Think you have to be careful with the 1.6mill loan. Assume board would have to assume income is going to be down next season. Doubt if we'll have any sort of crowds allowed during 2021 bar maybe season ticket holders. Possibly no away fans at all.

Season ticket sales probably take a hit.
    No away fans.
Over 2 seasons probably loss of income roughly the loan.

Sorry mate its probably just me but why do we need to be careful with the loan?,its interest free with no repayments until 2022 and its repayable over a twenty year period.
On the season tickets i would imagine if you were to say to the fans you can only be allowed back if you purchase one we would have a record breaking year because thousands cannie wait to get back into Tannadice especially if the majority have had the vaccine.

Which is exactly why they should take this loan to the full on terms that will never be available again, it's a total no-brainer.

Agree with you TTT it's a no brainer an interest free loan over 20 years is a great offer from wee nic and we should take as much of the £20 million as we can get our hands on.
