Ticket sales is the de-facto measure in an all-seater age where 1 ticket = 1 person = 1 seat.

Next you'll be having a go at the met. office over fiddling the temperatures they publish for your heat wave as no doubt if it reaches 40C it'll actually be nearer 45-50C in your back garden as they always measure in the shade under strictly controlled conditions.
He does have a point though eg.
At millmoor fans used to ask to move from main stand to tivoli and so on. When we refused they got titty lip on.
The reason was just that, to know how many were in what area incase of a fire etc.

I get your point Crash but a different era when primarily standing fans simply expected to be able to march from one end of the ground to the other at half time or whenever they wanted. A certain local disaster rightly put and end to those 'free and easy' days.

This was only a couple of years before we moved to theDVS. Where you couldn't move between stands.

Apparently they have announced at the stadium tonight that more tickets are available for the quarter final but the UEFA website is saying that the game is sold out.
    Bloody frustrating.

I have been trying to count the crowd but every time I get to five or six the camera moves. So frustrating.

The quarter final at NYS should be a great occasion for Rotherham.

Netherlands will bring quite a lot of fans to the town as they have in Sheffield.

I would expect NYS to be pretty full for that game and if anyone gets the chance to go down I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Bye for now, someone is about to lose a drone upsetting my dog. Hovering above my holiday box.

That is annoying, when I bought tickets yesterday for South stand there were only a few hundred seats across the ground available, yet attendance was 7k. If the numbers are based on ticket sales then shouldn't it be closer to the reduced capacity of 10.8K?

Been today. Glad Iceland drew it was just reward. There fans were superb and didnt shut up all game even tho they were a goal down early on. Great to be able to witness the icelandic clap./ chant as well. Millers fans need to learn from this sort of support this season when we are losing.
