I'm not completely sure that I am following your point here.

Did you read the link to the brief biography for the Rotherham mayor? It includes the following:

At the same time, she started volunteering for a domestic abuse and human trafficking charity in Sheffield. Once she completed her A Levels, she started working as a caseworker and from there she rose through the ranks, soon becoming a co-ordinator, then manager and head of safeguarding before becoming the Chief Executive Officer of a charity in Nottinghamshire..

So maybe she has simply chosen to support a charity that reflects her long-standing interest and insight in the same way that someone who had volunteered for, say, a food bank might have chosen a food bank charity? Are you seriously criticising her for that?

I wonder if it's occurred to the PM that whilst we need to get on with building more houses it's probably not a good idea to create a culture where corners get cut and we end up with sub standard housing that will ultimately create more work further down the line .

It could be targeted at builders sitting on land for years to be fair which is no bad thing but he doesn't say that .

Maybe he gets free Champions League tickets from McAlpine .

I think my point is quite easy to understand. I?m not sure about the link between your point and BME women comes in though. Human trafficking in Rotherham was/is quite rife especially when it comes to young white girls. If it was me I would rather choose a women?s charity that doesn?t exclude certain women just like I would choose a charity for children?s cancer that didn?t exclude certain children. If that?s a criticism then so be it.
