That’s not the reason the oldies are wearing them walking down the road though.
To be fair the oldies only wear them under their nose. I'm not sure if they've read that this is the way to do it in the Sunday Post or People's Friend

Admittedly there is a lot less chance of catching outdoors.
Those in the East don't seem to have an issue with wearing them
So you think masks only work one way. How is that possible? And what happens if you put it on the wrong way round?

Maybe humans will evolve in a couple generations to be born with a mask so there’s no confusion as to how to wear them.

Evolution is a great thing although there’s some creationists on here.

None of this happened before wee nippy got a haircut
When I was at Uni in the 90's I remember a lecturer telling me that there was an estimate that malaria had killed half of all the humans who have ever lived. something like 50 odd billion over the last 50,000 years. Google it if you don't believe me.

Yep, way out in front for killing humans. Still, we got by & we should return to letting people die from preventable illness. It’s PC gone mad I tell you

Some fans on here think like Northern Ireland's finest:

"Medical staff chose their career. Being up close and personal to infectious diseases is part of the job description. If they don't like it they can always get a job in the admin department."

"Viruses existed before Covid, and they will again. That's their job, nobody forced them into this profession, they knew the risks."

"It's just a bad flu. No reason to bring the economy to a halt and lock everyone indoors."

"You sound like a Scientist now.... Don't talk dribble."

"Hand Space Face ....Save LIVES and Save the NHS....... did you miss the LIVES bit. People like you would love a forever lockdown...get out and ENJOY life, whatever it brings your way."

You can also google the claim and find articles disputing it, since official records began in the 1900’s it’s no where near that.
