No shows get the same as the lowest-scoring entrant.

Two to check this week. According to my spreadsheet:

    - Crush scored 3 and should now have 181 points.

    - Alf's 3 takes him to 168 points.

I'm beginning to suspect you're just throwing these in deliberately to make me feel useful!
    Correct on both counts!

Alf’s was just me being shoddy and forgetting to amend his score. Crusha’s was a transcription error - I’m still pretty old-school and copy entries onto a marking-sheet and put Crusha’s Swindon entry down as 2-1 instead of 1-1.

I’m finding that as I progress though my 60s I make more mistakes which is why I suggested last week that (cough) someone else could take this on next season.

I’ll amend the table above, and thanks for auditing these - SOMEONE HAS TO!

Bloody bell do you have to do it all my hand then Griff,I hadn't given it much thought but presumed that you just tapped the results into your laptop and it did the rest,it's very generous to put so much time and effort into it every week

Mightily impressive for the back of what must be an incredibly big fag packet!

i haven't seen anything like that since the hand written ledgers we maintained when I started work at Barclays on English Street in 1974!

Ta lads. I never had reason to do my own spreadsheets when I was working, I just told someone else to do it.
I can do basic ones now but I just prefer a sheet of A4 and a pencil.

Impressive long division technique as well Griff. I like the way you carried the 14. You must have been taught the same way as me.

I bet not many youngsters could do all that with just a pen and pencil nowadays. They would need a calculator and mobile phone!
